Our Mission:
Ellore is an Australian brand that values the creation of pieces that feel timeless and that will last. Each piece is created with love, from design to production, we want to support local Australian businesses while creating ethically-made pieces that will remain staples in your closet for many years to come. Our pieces are manufactured in Melbourne Australia, our fabrics are also produced, dyed and printed locally. Wherever possible we source Australian made products, it is important to us to remain Australian made as it supports the economy at every level - from creating jobs, to supporting local suppliers and businesses and much more. It is also reassuring to know that Australia has some of the world's strictest labour, business, safety and quality control standards so when you are purchasing our pieces you know you are supporting a business that provides top of the range garments, as well as a business that treats and pays their workers fairly and uses high quality resources and materials.
Sustainability:
For us, sustainability is the number one aspect to have in mind when working with fashion and garment production. We always want to do our best to make our pieces as sustainable as possible, all the way from design ideas to sampling, production, and freight to our finished garments. We want to create garments with a timeless design that will never go out of style, in high-quality fabrics that are durable and easily maintained, and as kind as possible to our planet.
Our Story:
FOUNDED IN 2021 & DESIGNED BY EBANY MCLEES AND OLIVIA O’NEILL
This life long dream began in a local coffee shop on the Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne Australia when both co-founders - Ebany and Olivia finally put pen to paper. With the amazing collaboration of a competitive creator and a woman of ambition, the pair mapped out the plans for their brand over the next 12 months... with everything being explored from initial brainstorms and untidy handwriting, to shouting the brand name out loud, to investing into their first product, and everything in between... all before launching their official website with the Comfy Collective on the 1st March 2021...
Ebany and Olivia always knew it was going to be something big. They always spoke with the words when we sell out... when we are in big stores... when we are a common household known brand... when we win young entrepreneurs of the year... when we can quit our 9-5 jobs... when we can give our families the life they all truly deserve...
Ellore was the dream of a young enterprising pair of friends who knew they could make timeless Australian made clothing more accessible.
